I am Elise, the heart behind HART&SEEK.

I am a counsellor and educator and I have led Arts and Performing Arts departments in primary & secondary schools and I also have a background in theatre direction. My work weaves together a narrative of passion, purpose and empowerment to nurture the mental health of kids, teens and adults. I support the growth, confidence and authenticity of those who dare to lead with the heart.

I am driven by knowledge of the mind-body connection and the transformative power of creativity and I seek to innovate in the intersecting worlds of mental health and expressive arts.

My work is informed by personal journey, my multifaceted expertise and genuine care for people. I have worked across various demographics and I am dedicated to lifelong learning and a person-centred philosophy that cherishes the inherent value in each individual.

Outside the realms of therapy and education, I am a seeker of joy and wonder – marvelling at the moon and celebrating the magic of the seasons, reading and listening to thought-provoking people speak about the mind and body , and embracing the laughs and challenges of raising two vibrant boys in a neurodiverse household.
